So the other day we tried courgette noodles. And what a surprise! It was soooo good that I think I prefer it to noodle noodles! We want to cut on our carb intake and this makes it way easier.
So it made me think of Anika and Spina Bifida. She might be different yes, but she is also so much the same as others (and for me even better – because every mom prefers her own child to anything or anyone else)
She is the same as other kids, she also likes to play, sing, make a mess, get attention, loves to play in water, loves mud, the sea, ice-cream. So much the same, but also so much different. She moves differently, empties her bladder differently and spends her free time differently (unfortunately hospital visits and therapy sessions takes up a lot of her free time)
But just like courgette noodles, I’m surprised at how “fine” she is, how perfect she is, how much fun she has while she’s being the same and different!
