Have you ever been somewhere or asked for something that makes you feel way out of line… out of place.
I just ordered 1 x bottle of still water from the McDonalds Drive Thru…
It went something like:
Thirsty Me: “Good day, can I get one bottle of water please”
The voice over the speaker: “….uuuuuh, a what mam? One Quarter Pounder?”
Thirsty Me: “No, just a bottle of water please”
The uncertain shaky voice over the speaker: “Are you sure mam, nothing else?”
Thirsty Me: “Jip, nothing else”
The uncertain shaky voice with the shocked facial expression when I came to the collection window after a (longer than usual) while: “Here you go mam, one healthy McDonalds order, eish…, you confused us, we don’t get this order often”
So maybe next time I will try and order a Quarter Pounder from Kauai (Tasty Food, Healthy Life) at the gym… would love to see their reaction 🙂
