Sometimes in life, we walk our walks blindfolded, blindfolded with disturbances, blindfolded by schedules, technology, life.
We go through life without looking. Or we look, but we don’t see. You see, when you are so busy with your own little things, you miss the things you actually need to see, and then you miss out!
And when you come to a certain point in your life and you ask yourself why life seems so empty, it’s because you chose not to see.
I think blind people see so much more than we do. They see what really matters in life. When last did you close your eyes in order to see, to hear, to feel, to be.
And then the song comes to mind… Open my eyes Lord, I want to see Jesus!
And the moment I close my physical eyes, and I look to the inside, it is in that moment, when I start to stop looking around at all the distractions around me and see the One who really matters.
