Mother Theresa said “Be happy in the moment, that’s enough. Each moment is all we need, not more.”
Every now and again I love to just let-it-go with my kids. To have a silly moment with Anika, just being carefree – forgetting about her shunt, her wheelchair, her therapy. Or a few minutes of full-on, hardcore play with Reuben – without worrying about work, what he could break or the noise we’re making – he can be VERY loud sometimes.
I know life isn’t always as easy and peaceful as we’d like it to be, but sometimes I think we just miss the point completely. We need to learn how to be happy in the midst of our busy lives, we need to enjoy every moment even though we have our everyday troubles and challenges.
We went through some tough times, and the enemy tried to steal my joy and laughter.
BUT…
I went to the enemy’s camp and I took back what he stole from me!
I took back what he stole from me! I took back what he stole from me!
I went to the enemy’s camp and I took back what he stole from me!
He’s under my feet! He’s under my feet! Satan is under my feet!
Job 8:21 He will once again fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy.
