We always referred to “isolation tape” as “solution tape” and I really never knew… until the truth was revealed about six years ago!
Hmmm, sometimes we grow up using words and terminology which we ASSUME to be correct… then you grow up and someone spills the beans and inform you that the word doesn’t actually exist. It hits you right in the face, like in wham bam, and you take a while to accept this new truth. First you go through denial… then you google…
Huge was my relief when I double checked this morning and googled “solution tape”.
Ok, I know the most appropriate or suitable word for the tape which you use to fix almost ANYTHING is “isolation tape”, but at least now I know that there ARE actually people that also refer to it as “solution tape”, I’m NOT the only one who were under an illusion!
